Smoked Salmon Pate on Bagel Toasts

Tasty smoked salmon recipe on Bagel Toasts, and very easy to make in a short space of time!

Ingredients

  • 3 Bagels
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 125 g (4 oz) smoked salmon
  • 150 g (5oz) light cream cheese
  • ½ lemon, juiced, rind pared and shredded
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • small bunch washed watercress

Method

1. Cut each bagel into 4 thin slices. Brush each with olive oil and bake at 200 0C, 400 0F, Gas 6 for 5 to 6 minutes until golden and crisp. Allow to cool.

2. Mash the salmon, cream cheese and lemon juice together with a little black pepper.

3. Pile onto the bagel crisps and sprinkle with lemon rind and watercress.
