Scottish Quality Salmon is a quality assurance membership organisation. It was established (January, 2000) to set high standards of production, ensure these are independently audited and provide a new, market-led focus to the Scottish salmon farming industry.
Members of Scottish Quality Salmon are dedicated to improving the quality and sustainability of salmon farming in Scotland and the growing membership represents around 65% of the tonnage produced by the Scottish industry – from feed companies through to salmon smokers and processors – the whole production chain.
