Ingredients
- 500g baby new potatoes
- 200g Salar Flaky Smoked Salmon
- ½ pt milk
- 3 level tbsps flour
- 50 g butter
- good handful of fresh dill
- finely chopped
- salt & pepper
Method
Boil the potatoes in their skins until almost cooked.
Meanwhile prepare the dill sauce : make a white sauce by melting the butter in a small saucepan and add the flour. Fry very gently for a couple of minutes to cook the flour. Add the milk gradually over of medium heat, stirring continuously until the sauce has just come to the boil. Add the chopped dill and simmer very gently for a couple of minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
2 minutes before the potatoes are cooked, add the sealed pack of Salar Flaky Smoked Salmon to the pan to warm it through. Drain the potatoes and serve with the Flaky Smoked Salmon and dill sauce. Pretty simple, but very nice.
