Grilled Salmon with a Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each
For the Teriyaki Sauce
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup dry sherry
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. light oil (canola or safflower)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon peeled and minced fresh ginger
Method
Teriyaki Sauce
Wisk together teriyaki sauce ingredients and pour onto salmon. Marinade for ½ hour on the counter or one hour in the refrigerator.
Heat grill while salmon is marinating and place salmon on fish and vegetable grill making sure to cook all pieces at even heat. Cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until salmon flakes apart evenly with a fork.
