Grilled Salmon with a Ginger and Soy Marinade

Ingredients
- 4 salmon portions about 6 ounces each
Marinade
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon finely minced ginger root
- 1 teaspoon finely minced shallots
- 2 scallion bulbs crushed (may be crushed with garlic press)
Method
Wisk together marinade ingredients and pour onto salmon. Marinade for ½ hour on the counter or one hour in the refrigerator.
Heat grill while salmon is marinating and place salmon on fish and vegetable grill making sure to cook all pieces at even heat. Always start grilling with salmon skin side up. Cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until salmon flakes apart evenly with a fork.
Delicious served on fresh greens with a fresh tomato salsa.
